Artists are close to God...!!

Hey guys have u ever heard this line that artists are very close to God ? Artists, may be actors, musicians, painters, sculptors or whatever, they are very close to God. I think we all have heard people saying this so many times........But is it so ? Is there any authenticity in this saying or it's just a saying. I think no,it's not just a saying....Artists really are close to God....Yes they are......But have u ever thought why ? Why does Almighty God keeps them so close...Why does he listens to them before anybody else...?...Even I don't know exactly....but I can see one logic in it......See God made this universe and sent us on Earth. He made us (the people) with different faces, features, skin types, different interests, diff. inborn qualities and dis qualities, different talents etc etc.....According to our respective interests we further take education and become something or the other. Some of us become doctors, engineers, teachers, lawyers and ofcourse some are Artists....But have u ever heard that "He is a born doctor" or "he is a born teacher or engineer or a born lawyer?" Sounds funny..isn't it ? We all have heard that "He is a born actor or musician or painter....Yes friends only art is something which one can born with, rest all the education is gained.Only art is what God gives us....So the artists are those who born like that and remain like that till their last breath....They don't use their own brains to study something else to be something else. They don't be something that God has not sent them to be.....Otherwise why everybody is not born with an art ? God wants them to be different from the crowd....And they remain the way God has made them.In a nut shell,They remain in God's will,Then friends why would God not listen to his most obedient children.........??? Why would he not be close to them ??

Proud to be Indians

One my English friend came to India for the first time, and after his stay for about 7 days,he happened to meet me and I asked him about how he liked our country. He replied that he liked the country,it's rich cultural heritage, the festivals, the food etc etc...I was very happy and excited and then I asked him to tell his views about the Indians. He thought for a while and replied,he never met an Indian so far...I was shocked and amazed and asked him"How come u say that u never met any Indian in the past 7 days of ur stay ?"He then replied,"Yes.....annnn I met a Punjabi,a Bengali,a Tamilian,an Assamese,a Gujarati, but never met an Indian........will tell u the moment I meet one." I was really ashamed of the thought that we live in a country that is called "UNITY IN DIVERSITY",but my dear friends now there's only diversity and no unity is left...Lets come out of this regionalism, lets not be ashaned to be Indians, lets start calling ourselves Indians...............JAI HIND......

My Journey

My dear friends,This is my first post as a blogger and here I would wish to share the initial days of my struggle as a music director....It was the 31st day of May in the year 1996 when I professionally devoted my self to this profession and joined a very famous Music director of Punjab,Mr.Tejwant Kittu,as a.........I dont know what..... Yes even I did not know what I would do in the studio,in his recordings.Actually the story begins even three more years back when I was studying in 11th grade in a very renowned and perhaps one of the best schools of Ludhiana......Kundan Vidya Mandir.Mr.Kittu,(apart from his Music Directorial persue), used to be the Music teacher there at that time, and fortunately I used to have the honour to be his favourite student.....I also used to sing as a backing vocalist in his initial albums....This is how I came to know him....Well coming back to the real story.....One fine morning Mr.Kittu called me up at my landline number as the Mobile phones had not come to existence till then and asked me what I had been doing after 12th board exams and asI was working somewhere,I told him the same. The greatness of that man is that he immediately asked me to join him as a musician because his logic was "if u want to work then why not do something of ur interest?"The idea was great and I took no time to decide............And guys this is how I started my journey as a musician.
